Max Korzh to Give a Major Concert in Almaty This Fall
Max took his first steps toward success during his student years in Belarus, but his attempts to form a band and promote his songs were unsuccessful. Before enlisting in the army, he made a last-ditch effort: recording the song "The Sky Will Help Us," borrowing money from his mother to finance the recording. Having posted the song on VKontakte before leaving for military service, he had no idea that he would soon achieve stunning success: millions of plays and offers from producers. On April 7, 2012, Max released a music video for the song, which instantly became a hit. That same year, he released the sixteen-track album "Animal World" and signed a contract with the Russian label "Respect Production." Having started with underground concerts, Korzh quickly gained popularity first in Belarus and then beyond. His performances drew packed houses, and his songs became true anthems for the youth. The secret of his success is his unique style and ability to speak a common language with the younger generation. Max's most significant albums include "Animal World," "Music Bound Us," and "The Kid Has Grown Up Parts 1 and 2." These works illustrate the development of his creativity and outlook on life. His sincerity and closeness to his audience make his music particularly appealing. After the events of 2022, Max was forced to leave Belarus and temporarily cease performing. Now he rarely appears on stage, but when he does announce a concert, it is always a grand event in a large stadium. Max Korzh's fans are a big family united by their love for his work. They call themselves "Dvizh" and compare their community to the fan movements of football teams.
